Jonathan and JuliAnn’s photo philosophy is simple, provide all clients with a comfortable environment in which their memories can be preserved for a lifetime. In order to accomplish this, all clients are met with on at least three occasions prior to their event. These meetings offer a unique opportunity for JuliAnn and Jonathan to become more interpersonally involved with couples. The photographers learn more about what styles the couples like and what images are most important to them and their families. They also give clients the opportunity to become more comfortable with their photographers, which in turn relaxes them in front of the camera on their big day.
JuliAnn and Jonathan’s unique views of photography come together nicely as they offer clients a variety of different compositions to fall in love with. Unlike many wedding photography studios, they believe that their service is in capturing fabulous images. Therefore, all wedding packages include both photographers for the full day and a complete set of DVDs featuring all of the proofs. J&J Studios reserves the right to use any images captured for advertising and references for clients, but releases copyright for client’s personal use of all of the images. J&J Studios also offers packages and a-la carte pricing for clients who are interested in their high quality professional print and production services.
About Us
Jonathan is formally educated as a Mechanical Engineer, holding his Bachelors of Science degree from Marquette University. For J&J Studios, he is a photographer, graphic designer and co-owner. Jonathan offers clients uniquely captured images through his more abstract interpretations and views. His use of different camera techniques and varying angles puts a modern touch in many of his images. His enthusiasm and understanding of technology gives him the skills to create tack sharp, vivid images to please the most discerning eye.
JuliAnn became interested in photography over ten years ago while a high school student, where she won her first award. As popular photography has moved into the digital age, her interest has expanded to include restoration, digital preservation, as well as photo based graphic design. JuliAnn also holds her Bachelors of Arts degree from Marquette University, and has expressed interest in developing this photography studio for many years. Her images reflect a more contemporary style capturing emotion and elegance through simpler subjects and balanced staging.
